Field Trips
A small pack of up to four dogs on 4-hour weekly outings designed for real-world socialization, connection, and fulfillment. From hopping in the van to meeting other dogs, walking trails, resting, and even waiting in line at coffee shops — every moment is guided with calm structure.
With over 8 years of dog handling and training experience, we’ve created these outings to help dogs build confidence, make real friends, and enjoy the world with ease.
Small packs mean every dog gets the support they need.
Perfect for dog owners who want more than a walk — they want their dog to experience presence, enrichment, and genuine joy.
What our day looks like:
Pick ups ~ 8-10am — Drop offs ~ 12-2pm (this varies depending on season)
Your dog will be picked up and join their pack members. Dogs are guided into understanding appropriate behaviors whenever inside the van: this includes remaining calm whenever the doors open and close, and when other dogs hop on or out.
After pick up, I will take the pack to our fully fenced-in open pasture on our Petaluma home base, where the dogs get to relieve themselves and let out some morning energy. Dogs are guided through understanding structured play, staying present within themselves, and paying attention to the signals their handler or their pack members might be giving them. This moment in the day exercises the dogs’ awareness of handler, pack members, and environment.
We move on to load up in the van, where dogs are individually called by name and encouraged to wait their turn, and drive to our curated activity for the day. This might be a hike, walking around town, or playing at the beach! Wherever we are, dogs are guided to stay neutral to their surroundings. This moment of the day exercises building confidence in themselves and trust in their handler. We are exposed to other people, other dogs, and a variety of different scents and sounds.
Fulfilled and happy, we load back up into our van and prepare for drop offs.
